Seasoned firewood should be elevated a minimum of 6 inches off the ground. Covering firewood is recommended.

 We sell our firewood in 1/3 cord increments. For the average household, a 1/3 cord of wood should last through the burning season.

Firewood with 25% or less moisture content is ideal for most burning applications. When cooking with firewood it is recommended that the moisture content be slightly higher, around 30-35%.
